The SMW Lagos 2016 theme “The Networked African: Technology’s Impact on Africa (and How We Can Harness it for Good),” will explore how mobile technology, networked connectivity, data and other technologies are radically changing industries and communities across Africa.
Informed by the theme #SMWSportsMedia will discuss how Nigerians and even other countries are now really aware of what is going on in the sports of Athletics through exciting content creation distributed through various social media platforms.
#SMWSportsMedia is part of the larger Social Media Week conference hosted in 12 cities around the world. #SMWSportsMedia will take place on Thursday 25th of February between 2:15 and 3:30 PM.
Social Media Week Lagos (SMW Lagos) produced by AFRIKA21 and Dragon Africa returns to Lagos, Nigeria for it’s 4th edition on the 22nd – 26th of February 2016. The first African city to host the annual event, to date over 20,000 people have participated in SMW Lagos.
