Guess who won the MBTN(Move Back To Nigeria) 2015 Interview of the Year Award on 30th December, Wednesday night at Lagos Oriental Hotel?
Yes Champs! We won! You all brought it home, as our CEO, Bambo Akani was crowned the winner. Fully represented by our Head Coach, Olympic Medallist Deji Aliu and other MoC team members, all in attendance were so ecstatic.
In his acceptance speech, Olympic Medallist Coach Deji Aliu had these to say about Bambo- “yeah… I think Bambo is deserving of this award when you consider that he left his job as an Investment Banker to invest in Nigerian athletics. He left a world of certainty and benefits into a world full of uncertainties in order to pursue his passion of reviving athletics in Nigeria. I think that’s worth deserving an award”
Coach Deji continues – “His dreams and aspirations have been a source of hope to Nigerian athletics and through his company, Making of Champions, he’s been able to execute some athletic projects throughout the year”
Finally Coach Deji doesn’t forget to appreciate you all that made this happen – “Once again I thank everyone who has made this award a reality. Thanks”
In attendance also was our Social Media Manager Jesse Onomiwo ready to celebrate as if he knew MoC would win.
Head of Operations at MoC Ms. Barbara Benson was not left behind when we basked in the euphoria of victory.
The taste of victory is sweet. Now we know how our Top Sprinterd feel when they cross the finish line first! You are celebrated by friends and fans.
Once again, thank you all for making this happen.
