A Ministerial Committee to restructure and reposition Nigeria’s sports from a Service Oriented Model to a Private Sector Developmental oriented one is to be inaugurated on Thursday April 7, 2016.

The inauguration will be presided over by the Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung at the Media Center, Package A of the National Stadium, Abuja at 3pm.

The Chairman of the committee is Mr. Godwin Kienka. Other members include Chief Segun Odegbami MON, Mr. Fatai Williams, Col. Sam Ahmedu (rtd), Mr. Yusuf Datti, Mr Kayode Thomas and Mrs. Mary Onyali MFR.

Also joining them are Mr. Ayo Ojubato, Mr. Bola Oredele, the Technical Assistant to the Honourable Minister, the Director Grassroots Sports and the Director Planning, Monitoring and Implementation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
