Cameroon’s Eric Choupo-Moting played the final few mins for French Club PSG as they cruised into their first-ever Champions League final, beating German side RB Leipzig, thanks to a sparkling performance from their front three of Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe.
Choupo-Moting, the hero in the quarterfinals win against Atalanta, replaced French forward Mbappe in the 86th min of the match, making a total of 10 touches in the game.
PSG looked the more assured side all through the 90mins of the game as goals from Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernet saw them through. They will now meet Lyon or Bayern Munich in Sunday’s final, neither of whom will relish dealing with the greatest forward line world football.
Elsewhere, Senegalese midfielder, Idrissa Gueye was on the bench for the French Club and will hope to play a part in Sundays final as PSG looks to win their first ever Champions League title.
