Senegal’s Youssouph Badji was the hero for Belgium Club Club Brugge as they defeated Genk 2-1 in their matchday 4 fixture in the Belgium Jupiler League.
The attacker, who joined up with Philippe Clement’s side over the summer, notched up his second goal in four league matches, with this one proving vital as it came in the 83rd minute of the game, steering his side to victory in the end.

Nigeria’s Emmanuel Dennis started on the left flank of the attack for Club Brugge with his compatriot, David Okereke spearheading the attack for them. However, it was the former who helped his team with an assist, as he set up Hans Vanaken to open the scoring in the 22nd minute.
With Genk chasing the game, they were awarded a penalty just after the break. Nigerian striker, Cyril Dessers, the Eredivise joint top scorer with 15 goals last season, stepped up but was unable to score from 12 yards.
Theo Bongonda then equalized for Genk from the penalty spot in the 60th min before Badji’s goal claimed the spoils for Brugge.
