At the Velocity Fest Meet VII in Kingston, Jamaica, Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson-Herah clocked a time of 22.79s (-0.9m/s), for an easy win in the women’s 200m where Anthonique Strachan finished 2nd in 23.87s.

In the men’s 100m, Julian Forte edged out Yohan Blake as both men were both timed 10.20s (-1.3) and Nigel Ellis claimed 3rd in 10.45s.

Shanieka Ricketts dominated the women’s Triple Jump, peaking in the 2nd round with 14.37m (+0.7).

World Champion, Tajay Gayle also won the men’s Long Jump where he reached 8.04m (+1.4) from only two legal attempts, while Fedrick Dacres controlled the men’s Discus Throw with 61.44m.
