Arsenal have confirmed that striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a new three-year deal with the club this afternoon, tieing him to the club until 2023.
The Gabon attacker’s new deal, believed to be worth around £300,000 per week, represents a huge win for Mikel Arteta who has repeatedly said that he wants to build his team around the 31-year-old.
“Signing for this special club was never in doubt,” Aubameyang said. “It’s thanks to our fans, my team-mates, my family, and everybody at this club that I feel like I belong here.
