Boston Celtics have reduced the deficit in the Eastern Conference Finals, winning Game 3 to trail Miami Heat 2-1 in the ongoing NBA Playoffs in the Bubble in Orlando.
Unlike in the first two games when they gave up leads to allow Miami Heat draw level and beating them, Boston Celtics’ defense this time around forestalled any comeback, holding on strongly to win 117-106.
Celtics had taken a 19pt lead in the 3rd quarter and won all the first three quarters, and although Miami played a much better 4th quarter outscoring them by 4pts (32-28), Boston wasn’t going to capitulate.

Just like he had made all the difference in the other games, Bam Adebayo yet again was Miami’s best player, hitting another double-
double to finish as the game’s highest scorer.
Adebayo led at all fronts, making a game-high 27pts, and then made 16rebs (more than any player on the court), he also tied with Boston’s Jaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward in the number of steals made in the game (3).

There’s no doubt that Adebayo has been his team’s best player overall in the last three games, and it has justified his inclusion in the NBA’s second defensive team this season.
Semi Ojeleye was an unused player for Celtics today, as was Gabe Vincent for Miami who has not seen any action since the playoffs commenced.
