The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has signed a partnership agreement GAC Motors, making them the Official Automobile Partner of the Federation.
The deal which is described as one of the highest in value by the NFF in recent times will last for three years.
The signing ceremony at the GAC Headquarters in Victoria Island, Lagos marked the first time Nigeria’s football governing body was having a remarkable partnership with an automobile company, and both the NFF and the fastest-growing automobile company in the country were delighted with the consummation of the union.
As part of the deal, the NFF president, Amaju Pinnick; Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr; NFF’s Technical Director, Austin Eguavoen, and NFF General Secretary Sanusi Mohammed will all be given new official cars as well.
“We’ve been on this deal for several months now. It’s the first the NFF will own an ambulance, top officials of the federation like the president, general secretary, NFF Technical Director, and the Super Eagles coach will also get new cars,” Pinnick stated.
The Chairman of CIG Motors, representatives of GAC Motor in Nigeria, Diana Chen, said the deal was part of the company’s commitment towards sports development in Nigeria.
