Nigeria’s 2nd ever Female Taekwondoist to qualify for the Olympics, Elizabeth Anyanacho, is seeking support in her quest to make the podium at the Tokyo Olympics, which is billed to hold this summer.

Here is a message and video from three-time Olympian and Nigeria’s only Olympic Medallist in Taekwondo, Chika Chukwumerije, calling on Nigerians to assist Anyanacho, who is the country’s sole representative in the Taekwondo event at this year’s Olympics:

Dear Nigerian,

Support Olympic Podium Quest for Nigeria’s 2nd Female Taekwondoist to qualify for the Olympics.

With your support [N5, 000 or more to GT BANK | 0567472923 | NAIRA Account | Elizabeth Anyanacho], Elizabeth Anyanacho will be on the podium.

There is no solidarity as strong or resilient as ‘We the People’.

Yes, “We the People” can make Elizabeth’s Olympic Podium Dream a reality.

We dare to dream that a ‘nobody’, with just talents and lots of hard work, will succeed.

Elizabeth Anyanacho’s inspirational story is the story of so many young Nigerians.

Despite the odds, ‘We the People’ can make the difference.

Let’s dare to dream. Don’t just applaud. Support!
