Alaba Akintola was in amazing form at the C-USA Championships in Denton, Texas where he clocked a fast Season’s Best (SB) of 10.05s (1.0) to win the men’s 100m. He led a Nigerian 1-2 finish with Karlington Anunagba who came 2nd in an SB of 10.20s.

Akintola then doubled back about an hour after and won the 200m in 20.43s.

Stephen Eloji, like Akintola, also led a Nigerian 1-2 finish, storming to a massive Personal Best (PB) of 13.50s (0.7) to win the men’s 110mH, becoming the fourth fastest man in Nigerian history. His countryman Bashiru Abdullahi who runs for UTSA who came 2nd in 13.71s.

Eloji later ran the 400m hurdles which he won in 52.65s.
