Udodi Onwuzurike took his sprinting to another level, storming to a blistering Personal Best (PB) of 19.91s (0.9) to win the men’s 200m at the PAC-12 Championships.

He took a quality field apart, shattering his own School Record for Stanford University and setting a new NCAA Lead, a time which also happens to be the third fastest in the world this year. It was also his first conference title since he started competing for Stanford in 2022.

The Nigerian who had run the 100m where he finished 2nd about 50 minutes before the 200m, hit the World Championships qualification standard and now sits comfortably at number three on the Nigerian all-time list behind Divine Oduduru and Francis Obikwelu.
