Noah Lyles continued his unstoppable run as he claimed his third consecutive 200m world title at the ongoing World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

The American completed the sprint double with a blazing 19.52s to win the men’s 200m final, becoming the first man to win the 100m and 200m at a World Championship since Usain Bolt in 2015.

Youngsters Erriyon Knighton and Letsile Tebogo went 2-3 to win Silver and Bronze, posting 19.75s and 19.81s respectively.

Shericka Jackson delivered once again, dominating the women’s final to defend her 200m title in a new Championships Record (CR) of 21.41s – the second-fastest time in history.

USA’s Gabby Thomas picked Silver in 21.81s, with Bronze going to her compatriot Sha’Carri Richardson in a new Personal Best (PB) of 21.92s.
