Nigeria’s boxing journey at the Paris 2024 Olympics started with the Men’s 92 kg preliminaries at the North Paris Arena. Olaore Olaitan Adam faced Kazakhstan’s Oralbay Aibek but did not get the result he wanted.

In the first round, Adam scored points, but Aibek countered effectively and narrowly won with a score of 10-9 from the judges. The Nigerian tried to catch up in the second round but got a warning that cost him a point.

In the third round, the Kazakhstani made it hard for Adam to recover, maintaining the judges’ scores from the first round. The final scores were 26 for Adam and 30 for Oralbay Aibek across all five judges.
