World Record holder Tobi Amusan closed out Team Nigeria’s participation in Athletics as she fell short of making the final in the women’s 100m hurdles at the Paris Olympics.

Amusan’s performance throughout this Olympics showcased her resilience and skill. Despite leaving the blocks late, she ran a strong 12.55s in Semifinal 1 and finished 3rd in her heat but narrowly missed a spot in the final, ending up 9th overall.

Although this result means Nigeria will not secure a medal in Athletics, Amusan’s effort and dedication were notable and she remains a standout athlete with a bright future ahead.
