With the Diamond League gradually winding down, the MoC Fantasy Race contest isn’t left out, as it is becoming increasingly difficult for players in the contest to steer clear of each other.
As the battle for supremacy continues, it was Dennis Ogbonna’s Team who emerged victorious in the Monaco contest.
It was a magical night in Monaco, as Kenya’s Beatrice Chepkoech set a new World Record (WR) in the women’s 3000m steeplechase. Like the saying goes about “Fortune favoring the bold” Ogbonna took a big risk by selecting Chepkoech ahead of her compatriot, Hyvin Kiyeng.
The move paid off extremely well as the player also selected the Kenyan as his captain, churning in a massive 90 points. Also, he selected the duo of Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Noah Lyles, all whom gave him 30 points respectively.
In the end, Dennis Ogbonna’s Team amassed a total of 255 points to finish in 1st place, while WeRun Team placing 2nd 227 points. Peter Ibironke’s Team was 3rd after accumulating with 220 points.
