Super Falcons and Linkopings striker Ebere Orji has won the Swedish Damallsvenskan Player of the Month award for July.
Orji won the prestigious award after scoring five goals and recorded one assist in the opening six games for Linkopings.
The attacker is the second-joint leading scorer in Sweden with five goals, which she managed to score in her six opening outings in July.
Orji has hit the ground running in Linkoping since her arrival from newly promoted side Umea in February and has formed a crucial part of the team, contributing six goals and one assist in the league.
The award comes with some financial incentives as she received 10,000 Swedish Krona, which she has donated to one of Linkopings’ Corporate social responsibility project, LFC Night for the training of 750 girls.
