Former Golden Eaglets and ABS Football Club of Ilorin forward Olakunle Olusegun has joined Danish Club BK Fremad Amager for an undisclosed fee.

The Nigerian youth talent moved from FDC Vista in Russia, where he has been connected since the summer of 2019.

“He is a talented player that we get into the squad. He has good offensive qualities and plays with maximum capacity in many of his actions. With his speed, dribbles, and finishes, we get a player for the offensive that can be crucial in our changes, ”says Valli, coach of Fremad Amager.

Olakunle impressed the Nigerian U17 national team as a winger. In the qualification for the U17 World Cup, he scored six goals and made three appearances in 12 matches. Once he was in action for the U17 World Cup, it turned into four matches with one goal and two assists.

Olakunle was given jersey No. 6 and he is in the squad to face B 1908 in the first round of the Danish Cup on Tuesday (Today).
