Liverpool forward Sadio Mane and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have been named in the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) team of the year.

Senegal international Mane played a huge role in helping the Reds win their first league title in 30 years. He scored 22 goals and provided 12 assists in 47 appearances.

Meanwhile, Gabon international Aubameyang was key to the Gunners’ progress last season, given his impressive performances in front of goal, scoring 29 goals, and providing 3 assists to help his team win the FA Cup.

Other players that made the team are Nick Pope, Andrew Robertson, Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, David Silva, Jamie Vardy, Caglar Soyuncu, and Jordan Henderson

Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne was the last inclusion, as he was also named the PFA Player of the year while Alexander-Arnold won the gong for the best young player.
