American Randy Waldrum has been appointed as the new Head coach of the Super Falcons of Nigeria, taking over from Thomas Dennerby who resigned from the job last year.

The legendary women’s soccer coach ranked 14th in NCAA history in career head coaching victories (408) while also ranking sixth amongst active head coaches.

The NFF communications department made the announcement in a statement on its website earlier today.

According to the NFF, consulting firm, Phillips Consulting, helped in Waldrum’s appointment.

The statement quoted NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, as saying the new coach would take Falcons to the next level.
