Emmanuel Arowolo was in action at the Cameroon Grand Prix in Yaounde where he competed in his first races of the season since he last ran at the all-comers meet in February at Akure.

Running in the men’s 200m on the track where he set a Personal Best (PB) in 2019, he clocked a time of 21.39s to take the win, beating homeboy Merlina Nguaguele who ran 21.44s. Romeo Manzila was 3rd in 22.40s.

Over 100m, Nguaguele narrowly held off Arowolo to take the win in 10.67s as the Nigerian placed 2nd in 10.69s, while Didier Kiki finished 3rd in 10.87s.
