Halimat Ayinde’s second-half strike was enough for the Super Falcons of Nigeria to defeat Uzbekistan 1-0 in their second group match of the ongoing 2021 Turkish Women’s Cup.
Ayinde, the Eskilstuna United midfielder, latched on to a fine cross by Francesca Ordega in the 47th minute to put the nine-time African Champions in front.
