Over 300 Medals and 6 School/Team trophies will be up for grabs when the inaugural MTN CHAMPS Continental Relays gets underway in Ibadan from Friday 5th to Monday 8th April 2024.

With the registration deadlines for all Athletes and Teams (Countries, Schools, Club, etc) fast approaching this Friday 29th March, here is the full list of all confirmed 92 Track & Field events across 4 age groups:

Cadet (U14)

12 Events (5 individual & 1 relay each for Boys & Girls – Junior Secondary Schools only):
•⁠  ⁠4 Track events (100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m)
•⁠  ⁠2 Field events (Long Jump & High Jump)

Youth (U17)

20 Events (9 individual & 1 relay each for Boys & Girls – Senior Secondary Schools only):
•⁠  ⁠5 Track events (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 4x100m)
•⁠  ⁠5 Field events (Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put and Discus)

Juniors (U20)

29 Events (13 individual & 1 relay each for Boys & Girls and Mixed 4x400m):
•⁠  ⁠9 Track events (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 100/110mH Hurdles, 400mH, 4x100m for Boys & Girls as well as Mixed 4x400m which is 2 Boys and 2 Girls on same team)
•⁠  ⁠6 Field events (Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus & Javelin)

Seniors

31 Events (13 individual & 2 relays each for Men & Women and Mixed 4x400m):
•⁠  ⁠10 Track events (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 100m/110mH Hurdles, 400m Hurdles, and both 4x100m AND 4x400m for Men & Women as well as Mixed 4x400m – 2 Men and 2 Women per team)
•⁠  ⁠6 Field events (Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin Throw)

Unfortunately, the long distance events (3000m SC, 5,000m, 10,000m, Race Walk), Pole Vault and Hammer Throw will NOT be offered at the MTN CHAMPS Continental Relays – if you have previously registered for any of these events online at mtnchamps.com/registration, you may choose to register again for any of the confirmed Track & Field events by the registration deadline of Friday 29th March 2024!
