Tobi Amusan was in a class of her own on Day 2 of the ongoing Nigerian Olympic Trials in Benin, Edo State, exerting her dominance to storm to her fourth consecutive 100m hurdles National title.
The African Leader dusted the field as she sailed through to an easy-peasy 12.78s across the barriers ahead of Adaobi Tabugo who proved a worthy contender and clocked a time of 13.33s for 2nd. Faith Osamuyi settled for 3rd.
It is good to note that Amusan formerly held the World Lead (WL) of 12.40s, which was achieved at the Jamaican Grand Prix in May.
The World Record (WR) holder will be a part of the Nigerian contingent set to compete at the African Championships later this week, where she is the undisputed favourite in the event.
