The American team won 88-74 at the Bercy Arena in Paris on Wednesday, but Nigeria’s performance was nothing short of remarkable.

D’Tigress showcased incredible resilience throughout the game, initially holding a competitive edge by finishing the first quarter at 26-17. Although the US extended their lead to 52-33 by halftime, Nigeria fought tirelessly, demonstrating their strength and tenacity against a formidable opponent by outclassing them in the 4th quarter with 26-12.

While the USA remains undefeated in the quarter-finals, having won eight games in this round, their victory against the D’Tigress was their narrowest, with their seven previous wins being by 15 or more points.
