Enugu was the 2nd location for MoC Track Club, launched in March 2016 when the first cohort of eight athletes were initially inducted into MoC. Enugu initially started with 3 Athletes under the guidance of Olympic Medallist Uchenna Emedolu, but they have mostly moved on to other locations now – one receiving a Secondary School Scholarship in Lagos from Shell, another getting admission to the University of Port-Harcourt, and the final one also awaiting admission to Uniport.
Emedolu has several other Athletes training under him in Enugu, and we’ve received plenty of requests from more Athletes in Enugu, especially from the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus, for us to train them, but we need help from Sponsors to continue discovering and developing Athletes in Enugu, which has long been a hotbed for Athletic talent in Nigeria.
