Oluwabunmi Lateef who was born on 31st October 1997, specializes in the 400m and Making of Champions’ (MoC) first encounter with him was at the 2016 Top Sprinter competition in Lagos where he claimed a Silver medal in the Junior category of the men’s 400m.
He was unveiled at MoC’s Track Club in Lagos in January 2018 and the Ondo State athlete went on to represent the club in a couple of competitions in 2018, beginning with the 1st MoC Grand Prix & Relays in Lagos in June, and then the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) Golden League in Ozoro.
He capped his season at the National Sports Festival (NSF) where he represented Ondo State. He placed 2nd in his heat with a Personal Best (PB) of 48.53s and lowered his time to 48.34s in the semis, finishing 5th. Lateef is looking forward to achieving great things in his Athletics career with the support of MoC.
